Kenai National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is the place for tourists to go when looking for information regarding U.S. Wildlife Refuge’s activities. The center is located at Ski Hill Road, Soldotna, only 10.5 miles away from the Aspen Hotels and a 4-minute walk away from the U.S. Wildlife Refuge.

Business Hours

The Kenai National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is open every day from: June to August:
9:00am to 5:00pm. September to May: Tuesdays to Saturday between 10:00am-5:00pm
The center is closed on Sundays, Mondays and holidays.

Kenai National Wildlife Refuge

Kenai National Wildlife Refuge is a 2-million-acre area along the Kenai Peninsula that houses and protects Kenai’s local wildlife, particularly the widely hunted moose. The wildlife center also features different flora and fauna as well as diverse ecosystems.

Establishment Features

Inside the center, tourists and residents can arrange their schedule of activities for the wildlife refuge. Guests can book activities such camping and winter sports (i.e. skiing, flightseeing, etc.). The center also provides maps, trail guides, films and exhibits of historical facts and events.

If guests have more questions about the facility, the staff will be ready to answer any inquiries and will also provide some useful tips and stories.

The Kenai National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is home for all the wildlife shelter’s information and activity bookings. It also gives lost and confused tourists the assistance they need to be able to get back on track and continue their adventure.
