Artworks is hosted by Bunny Swan Gease, a culture bearer for the Dena’ina Athabascan culture and a Kenai local artist. A member of the Kenaitze Indian Tribe, Swan is an artist, musician and curator. She’s known for her ability to blend modern and ancient rhythms to both educate and entertain audiences.

Artworks Alaska Gallery is open year-round by appointment only and showcases the works of the Alaskan Native Peoples located on the Kenai Peninsula. Guest artists from around the globe have also earned highlighted exhibits at the gallery. Here, you’ll discover beaded and carved works, ivory masterpieces, jewelry, birch burl bowls, glass float mobiles, Native drums and much more.

Artworks is located on Beaver Loop Road in Kenai. Call 907-283-3689 to make an appointment for a visit or to book an artist for your local special event. Special events and workshops take place at the gallery, such as Ancient Voices: Future Visions which depicts the Dena’ina people’s past, present and future.
