On The Docks

On the Docks is a Bar and Grill that is family-owned and operated. It serves delicious food in a special setting. Their menu includes salads, appetizers, sandwiches, tacos, burgers, steak, seafood, wine, beers, cocktails and of course desserts! Its location also features beautiful views of the Lighthouse Marina and Meetinghouse Creek which you can enjoy inside and outside of the restaurant’s deck!

South Franklin Street

South Franklin is known as the main district and one of the best shopping areas where you can find everything Alaskan, such as handmade native crafts and expensive fine art. And when in doubt, look for the polar bear symbol for goods made in Alaska and the Silver Hand label to ensure the authenticity of the product. You can also find renovated buildings that date from the early 1900s along the street.
